We can help you to open a bank account and will support you to manage that account. We do not recommend one single bank over any other nor do we recommend any products.
If you find yourself regularly slipping into your overdraft (or indeed over your overdraft) this will normally incur additional charges. Those charges impact on other things that you need to pay for often robbing Peter to pay Paul. Our workers will also spend some time with you to look at your outgoings and will make some suggested changes which you might like to make to improve your regular cash flow. They will also support you with operating your account including how to set up standing orders and direct debits etc.
If your situation is a little more worrying than simple money assistance will help to overcome we can refer you onto one of our partners in many cases, for more intensive money advice. In those few cases where we cannot get you in the door of our partners we will suggest where you might like to go to get the support which you might need.
